3.2 POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS:
This particular product has not been shown to have adverse effects in years of manufacture and use. Chlorinated paraffins are a class of compounds that are similarly manufactured but vary in molecular structure by carbon chain length and degree of chlorination.
EYE: Repeated or prolonged contact may cause eye irritation.
SKIN: Repeated or prolonged contact may cause skin irritation.
INGESTION: No hazard in normal industrial use.
INHALATION: Dust may be irritating to the respiratory tract.
CHRONIC EFFECTS: Not listed as human carcinogen by OSHA, IARC, or NTP.
SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS: Eye, skin or respiratory tract irritation.
See TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION (Section 11)

3.3 POTENTIAL ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS:
AQUATIC ENVIRONMENT: In long-term (60 day) fish studies the NOEL is greater than the solubility limit.
NON-AQUATIC ENVIRONMENT: Based on available animal studies this product has not been classified as Dangerous to the Non-aquatic Environment.
See ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION (Section 12)

4. FIRST AID MEASURES
EYE: Hold eyelid open; flush with large volume of water; continue for 15 minutes. If irritation develops, seek medical attention.
SKIN: Brush powder from skin; wash area with mild soap and water. If irritation develops, seek medical attention. If molten material is on skin, cool rapidly with cold water. Do not attempt to peel from skin. Seek medical attention for thermal burn
INGESTION: If swallowed, do not induce vomiting . Rinse mouth and dilute with water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. If irritation develops, seek medical attention.
NOTE TO PHYSICIANS: Treat as exposure to any fine powder. Consider powder as organic chemical. (See Section 3
for observable SIGNS/SYMPTOMS).

5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
FLAMMABLE PROPERTIES: Flash Point: >200_ C Method: C.O.C. Burn Rate: Not determined
FLAMMABLE LIMITS: Lower flammable limit: Not determined
Upper flammable limit: Not determined
FLAMMABILITY CLASSIFICATION: Not determined
AUTOIGNITION TEMPERATURE: Not determined
HAZARDOUS COMBUSTION PRODUCTS: Hydrogen chloride, oxides of carbon
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Water fog; foam; dry chemical
ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS: Material becomes molten and free flowing at softening point. Decomposition produces toxic gas.
FIRE FIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS: Protect against decomposition products, wear self contained breathing apparatus. If this material is involved in a fire, keep surrounding containers cool with water spray
and contain all runoff.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Wear protective equipment (see Section 8). Isolate the area and deny entry to unnecessary and unprotected personnel. Stop the leak at the source; dike area and/or take measures to prevent material from entering waterway. Prevent contact with strong oxidizers and reducers (see Section 7.) Sweep and shovel material to reclaim container; vacuum remaining material into disposal container (see Section 13.)

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE HANDLING
Do not wear contaminated clothing. Wash prior to eating, drinking, smoking, or use of restroom and when
leaving work. Minimize dust generation and accumulation. Use proper grounding procedures. Prevent static
charge when handling material. Do not dispose of material or empty container to the environment.
STORAGE: Do not store near heat or open flame.
INCOMPATIBLE MATERIALS: Strong oxidizers and reducers
VENTILATION: Mechanical to control dust
SPECIAL PACKAGING MATERIALS: Material should be stored in manufacturer’s supplied packaging or container. Use of other packaging or container should be approved by qualified personnel.
